140g Brown sugar
Preheat your oven at 180C/ 356 F.
Mix together brown sugar and the eggs in a bowl until it whitens.
Add mascarpone, flour, baking powder, lemon juice, and mix until the batter becomes homogeneous.
Line your cake tin with parchment paper.
Cut your apples in quarters and then do small incisions in each of them without going all the way through.
Transfer your batter to your cake tin and organize the apples evenly with a gentle push so their surface remains on top. Powder everything with vanilla sugar.
Bake for around 40 min (adjust according to your oven, a knife's blade should come out clean)
